Luna Blaise and Kathie Lee Gifford

Luna Blaise (born April 14, 1977) is an American actress from the United States. She is well-known for her roles in the series Fresh Off the Boat. When she was a young actress, Blaise was always passionate about the craft. She began her acting career through the role of a model and also cameos. Then, she began getting offers to play recurring roles on television programs. In addition to her television work she's also had appearances on music video as well. In recognition of her work, that she was awarded the Young Artist Award under the Recurring Young Actress category (14 to 21). The many projects that she was a part of is her feature-length film Vicious Circle as well as the art film Memoria, the TV show Fresh Off the Boat, as well as the Sweatshirt Music Video. Kathie Lee Gifford co-hosted the fourth hour alongside Hoda the KOTB show from 2008 until April 5th, 2019. Entertainment Weekly has praised the Kotb/Gifford hours as appointment TV and the USA Today TODAY happy hour. Gifford composed the TODAY The Musical for 2014, which included the host and cast. Each month Gifford wrote a song to promote Everyone Has a Story. Gifford was elected to the Broadcast & Cable Hall of Fame for 2015. Gifford co-hosted Live with Regis & Kathie Lee. The show she hosted for 15 consecutive years. The show received 11 Emmy nominations. Her three-year stint as an Good Morning America journalist was followed by a playwright, director and singer/songwriter. Gifford was a producer and singer songwriter who is also an actor, has enjoyed many years of experience in the field of television as well as film. She is the owner of her own record company and has composed musicals like the Broadway musical SCANDALOUS that was nominated for the Tony award in 2012 for Best Actress. Gifford was also on Broadway with her role in Putting it Together and Annie. Gifford was the author of four NY Times bestselling books including Just when I thought I'd Lost My Last Egg I Can't Believe I Said That The Rock The Road and the Rabbi as well as the popular children's story Party Animals. Recently, she co-wrote He Saw Jesus Jesus Is His Name and"Love Me To Death" and recorded the songs. GIFFT is a wine label she has created with Scheid Family Vineyards, Monterey CA. She first made an appearance as a director in the short film, THE GOD WHO SEEKS starring Nicole C. Mullen. Both co-wrote and produced the score for the film. Gifford is a patron of a variety of organizations for children such as Childhelp or the Association to Benefit Children. Both Cassidy's Place & Cody House were named in honour of the two daughters she has. In her capacity as a human rights activist, she was given an honorary diploma at Marymount University in recognition of her labor relations work.
